Silver & Gold-Plated Silver Jewelry
Avoid contact with perfume, body lotion, nail polish, and nail polish remover - these can cause oxidation and darkening.

Color-Painted Silver Jewelry
Specially painted colors may fade when exposed to alcohol-based products such as hand sanitizer or fragrance. If this happens, rinse briefly with clean water. Avoid wearing these pieces in the shower, swimming, during sports, or in contact with rough surfaces. Treat them gently as collectible items.

Cotton Strings
Avoid swimming in chlorine pools, as this can bleach and fade the color of the string significantly.

Everyday Tips
Remove gold-plated or color-plated silver jewelry before exercising. Always let lotions or creams absorb fully before putting on your jewelry. If contact occurs, a quick rinse with clean water will help preserve the finish.
